Call the Police/Fire/Ambulance services
Alert other Parish Councillors
Decide who does what. Appoint Team Leader & Administrator
Mobilise Contacts and Resources
Establish a Control Centre. Administrator logs information including timings
Name Contact to liaise with outside Emergency Services
Notify Uttlesford Emergency Response - if the situation is major and likely to be long lasting
Coordinate the Community - if the emergency causes all or part of it to become isolated
Consider Temporary Shelter for displaced persons
Consider vulnerable people’s needs
Debrief after the incident. Update the Parish Emergency Response Plan as required
